How it works
No breed knowledge needed. The AI looks at ear shape, muzzle length, coat pattern and body proportions, the same cues a judge would check at a show.
Upload a photo
Any clear photo of your dog from your phone or computer. It gets compressed in your browser before upload.
The AI takes a look
A vision model trained on 120 breeds compares your dog's features against its reference set.
See the three closest matches
You get the top three breeds with confidence scores and reference photos to compare side by side.
Get a sharper answer
The photo is everything. Four small things that noticeably improve accuracy:
Use good lighting
Even, natural daylight with your dog facing the light source. Shadows hide the features the AI reads.
Face the camera
A frontal pose shows muzzle, ears and eyes at once, which is where most breed signal lives.
One dog per photo
Multiple dogs confuse the analysis. Crop to the dog you're curious about.
Skip the accessories
Bandanas, coats and big collars cover identifying traits. Plain dog beats dressed-up dog here.
Trained on 120 breeds
From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, and every ear shape in between. Mixed-breed dogs get matched to their closest-looking relatives.
